Privacy Policy

Information we collect
Account info you provide: email address, password, and username. Content you create: posts, comments, likes, and direct messages, including any photos you upload. Friend connections: who you are friends with and pending friend requests. Device info: a push notification token so we can deliver notifications to your device, and basic crash/diagnostic data (e.g. what screen you were on, device model, app version) when the app crashes or errors, sent to our crash-reporting provider.
How we use it
To operate the core features of the app (posts, friends, messaging, notifications), to respond to reports of content or accounts, to diagnose and fix crashes, and to communicate with you about your account (e.g. password reset, email verification).
Who we share it with
We use Supabase to host our database, authentication, and file storage, and Expo's push notification service to deliver notifications. We use Sentry for crash reporting. These providers process data on our behalf and do not use it for their own purposes. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Your rights and choices
You can view and update your display name and profile photo at any time from Settings. You can permanently delete your account at any time from Settings > Account > Delete Account.
Data retention and deletion
Your content is retained while your account is active. Deleting your account immediately and permanently removes your profile, posts, comments, likes, friendships, messages, conversations, and notifications, and deletes your login credentials entirely — this action cannot be undone or reversed.
Children's privacy
This app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) connections. Access to the database is restricted by row-level security policies scoped to your account.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date below and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
